Casini Camping

We had a blast this weekend camping at Casini Ranch in the Russian River area. My parents came up to join us and we had fun exploring all there was to do at the campground: swimming, playgrounds, ducks to feed, hayrides, bonfires, etc. It was great! Savvy had little slumber parties with her Nona in their motorhome while D, the pups and I tried out the new tent and cots. Our tent was easy to put up (even in the dark) and had TONS of room inside-- we love it. Savvy loved eating the gigantic pink marshmallows her grandpa packed for her and getting to hang out with her Auntie Cindy on Saturday afternoon. Now we're back home and recuperating from a night of virtually no sleep in our house. For some reason (after a weekend of good napping and sleep) Savvy decided to wake up and cry about every 15-30 minutes last night until about 4 this morning. We were all EXHAUSTED this morning and both D and I used a sick day to try and catch up on a little sleep. We thought Savvy was probably sick, but she appeared fine this morning, dancing into our room and shouting "Open eyes!" :)
