Mamas, Marie and the Mission
We had a fantastic weekend-- my parents were in town for a few hours on Friday and watched Savvy for us while we ran some errands after work. Then we were off to the bay for a weekend with Savvy's Nana and Grandpa Salt. Saturday we rode BART into the Mission to meet up with Savvy's Auntie Marie and do some shopping. We stopped into Paxton Gate's toy store which was AWESOME. They had a book release party going on, which was sponsored by Wired Magazine. Savvy got to make a pirate map (while dressed like a pirate) and play with a bunch of cool toys. We had lunch at a great Tapas place since we couldn't find the taqueria we originally planned to eat at. :) That night we all stayed up and watched Up together-- which was the SWEETEST movie I have seen in years. If you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favor--rent or buy it. Sunday morning we had an awesome breakfast thanks to Barbara. Afterwards, Savvy told us she wanted to go to the beach-- so we said "why not?" and drove over to Ocean Beach. Savvy chased some daschunds around, splashed in the water and buried her piggies in the sand. Now we're back at home, catching up on Tivo and settling in for the night. Hope your weekend was a good one!
